Open since may 2007 in the center of Brussels the very first Art Gallery male homo-oriented. Located in the area of the Brussel’s flea market, this new gallery offers paintings, objects and collectibles witch means art pieces but also art books.

Pink Art is situated in the antique market Haute Antiques and welcomes everyone seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm. The purpose is to offer a panorama of the art of the 19th and 20 th century but also to exhibit contemporary artists. A book corner will also present the most importants books on the topic.

Exposed works show the diversity of work of the old or contemporary artists by the means of the human body and the traditional metaphor. Artists who use themselves as their ad hoc materials, and leave us in front of provocative, mischievous or lyric work.

'The male homosexual sensitivity is often perceived like mainly contemplative and nonconsidered. If the observer controls mainly what is observed, gay art presenting of the naked or semi-stripped male bodies does not occupy of it less one paradoxical position in the spectrum as well psychological as artistic.'
